Who we are

Guy K Web is a web design studio that designs and builds websites for businesses. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Guy K Web. If you have any questions about your information, email us at guyk2317@gmail.com.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us:

• When you send an enquiry through our “Get in touch” form: your name, your business name, your email address, your phone number (if you add it), any links you share, the files you upload (such as photos, a logo or a PDF) and what you tell us about the website you want.
• When you email us or message us on Instagram or WhatsApp: your contact details and whatever you include in your message.

Like almost every website, the servers that deliver this site record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and quote for your project, and - if we work together - to design, build and support your website. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries you send us and, where we work together, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and then carrying it out.

Where it is kept

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Enquiries sent through the form, and the files you upload with them, are stored securely in Cloudflare’s storage and can only be opened by us with a password. Emails are kept in our email account.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to talk to you about your project. If we don’t go on to work together, we delete them within 12 months. If we do, we keep project records for as long as needed to support your website and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Other websites

Our site shows and links to websites we have made for our clients, and to Instagram and WhatsApp. On larger screens, the Kalifa Architecture website is shown live inside our page. Those websites and services are run by others and have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply when you use them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, email guyk2317@gmail.com. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
